Español: Escudo de armas de El Escorial (Madrid): en medallón con dos leones sosteniendo con sus garras un círculo en cuyo centro se hallan las armas de España orladas con una inscripción que dice "Villa Leal del Escurial por Fernando VII". En la parte superior una guinalda de laurel atada con una cinta en cuyo extremo izquierdo se lee "Pos Fata" y en el derecho "Resurgo", que significa, "después de hecho resucita" Sobre dicha corona un haz de flechas, símbolo de unidad , y al pie del escudo y entre los dos leones se ve un águila con sus garras clavadas en tierra.
