Description

Tiene una forma completamente estilizada semejante a un óvalo.

En campo de argenta los tallos de unas plantas de maíz y de caña de azúcar.

Al centro de la composición, sobre ondas azul y plata, un sapo en su color y vuelto a la siniestra.

En la punta del escudo un diseño tramado en colores verde, azul y plata.

A manera de bordura una cadena dorada circunda al blasón hasta la punta, donde convergen los dos extremos en la figura de un casco roto en la parte superior.

Los adornos exteriores llevan, por timbre, una guirnalda con hojas de laurel y olivo en cuyo centro resalta una bandera con los colores patrios.

Los elementos ornamentales se complementan con una figura que asemeja un pergamino y que rodea al blasón a manera de lambrequines.

Author Este escudo fue rediseñado en el año de 1998 por la L.C.C.G. Laura Amezcua Contreras y el L.C.C.G. Fernando Resendiz Zamora en la Universidad de Guadalajara como proyecto de Tesis, el cual fue respaldado por el H. Ayuntamiento de Tamazula de Gordiano
