English: Escrick railway station (site), Yorkshire Opened in 1871 by the North Eastern Railway on the line from Doncaster to York, this station closed to passengers in 1953 and completely in 1961. View south along the overgrown trackbed towards Riccall and Doncaster - the main line was diverted to the west of Selby in 1983. The main building had been to the far left of this image. |
