Emplacement de l'ex-auberge du Cheval-Blanc de 1650 à 1906, qui du règne de Louis XIV à celui de Louis XVIII, fut la tête de ligne des coches et diligences pour Orléans, Tours, Bordeaux, Bourges, Vendôme, La Rochelle. Il y avait un départ par semaine pour chaque destination.
