Laurent, Die Chronik Thietmar's, Berlin 1848, S. 277): Darnach begann der treffliche Bischof Eid (von Meißen), nachdem er eben mit großen Geschenken aus Polen zurückgekehrt war, zu kränkeln und gab am 20. Decbr. in der Stadt Libzi [Leipzig] Christo die gläubige Seele zurück.
