Summary

English: Erratic boulders The local fields have been cleared of their rich harvest of glacial erratic boulders. Here a more recent crop has been dragged to the corner of the field and left, while an earlier collection were used to build the lower part of the earthen dyke around the field. Quarries for building stones were largely unnecessary in this area. The forbidding outline of Carn Fadryn SH2735can be seen in the distance. |
