Description
English: The Sta Monica Church once stood in Cavite City locals believe this church was one of the most beautiful Catholic shurces that ever graced during Spanish Occupation of the Philippines. Unfortunately, it was heavily wounded by the Japanese troops during World War 2. Since then, the golden church collapsed until only the bell tower remained. However it's now occuppied by illegal settlers. It is often mistaken for the Porta Vaga Church tower which looks similar, but the bell tower of Santa Monica has four levels while the Porta Vaga has only three.
