Svenska: Porträtt målat av Johan David Schwartz (1678-1729) av riksrådet och fältmarskalken greve Erik Sparre af Sundby, bärandes pudrad allongeperuk, vit lindhalsduk, bröstharnesk och violett pälsbrämad rock med förgyllda beslag - midjebild. Olja på duk (originalduk), 78 x 66 cm.

Riksrådet och fältmarskalken greve Erik Sparre af Sundby (1665-1726) var från 1683 i fransk krigstjänst i det regemente som senare kallades 'Royal Suédois' och han tog avsked där 1707 med generallöjtnants grad. Han återvände därefter till Sverige och innehade ett flertal höga militära och civila poster. Han upphöjdes till greve och tog sig namnet Sparre af Sundby efter det ärvda Stora Sundby slott 1719. Erik Sparre var far till Ulrica Louise (Ulla), gift med Carl Gustaf Tessin.
