Description

A view of the intersection of Prospect avenue and East 9th street around 1915. The Erie Building, a Walker and Weeks building from 1891, was remodeled and renamed in 1915. It is seen on the right, with a large sign for the Empire Burlesque on the roof. The Osborn building is at the left in the background with a sign for Lake Shore Bank on its roof. Trolleys, automobiles, and a horse-drawn vehicle are in the streets.
