Nederlands: Eredegen met gouden handgreep versierd met een gevederde helm, een leeuwekop en een schild opgehouden door twee leeuwen, met een dubbelkoppige adelaar en een kroon er boven; de handgreep mondt uit in een schild waarop een citadel te zien is met een leeuw voor de poort; het blad van het zwaard is gedeeltelijk blauw geverfd, waarin gedeelten uitgespaard zijn, en versierd met goudverf en graveerwerk; de degen is gevat in een leren schede met gouden versierselen om de beide uiteinden te beschermen; de punt mondt uit in een asymmetrisch harpje, op het andere uiteinde een knop inscriptie: Antwerpen.
English: Honorary sabre with golden handle, decorated with a feathered helmet, a lion’s head, and a shield, held up by two lions, with a two-headed bird on it, and a crown on top of it. At the bottom of the handle a citadel with a lion in front of the gate is depicted. The blade of the sword is partially painted blue, with decorative cut-outs, and adorned with gold paint and engraved. The sabre is stored in a leather sheath with gold decoration to protect both ends. The point merges into an asymmetrical harp. There is an inscription on the other end which reads: Antwerpen (Antwerp).
