Summary

[edit]
Description

Native, warm-season, perennial, loosely tufted grass to 90 cm tall. Found on lower fertility soils (e.g. granite and trap), mostly in woodlands and native or naturalised pastures. Native biodiversity. Increases under improved fertility if competitive introduced grasses are not present. Produces relatively low amounts of moderate quality, palatable feed.

Should be lightly stocked or rotationally grazed for best production and persistence.
