Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Eradu Katte Basadi, located east of Chamundaraya Basadi, is dedicated to Lord Adinatha. The black stone idol, seated in padmasana, measures 3 feet 2 inches and has a prabhavali with male chamara bearers on either side. The temple gets its name from the two stairs on the east and west approaches. An inscription on the idol's pedestal credits Lakshmi, wife of Hoysala general Ganga Raja, with commissioning the temple around 1118 A.D.
