Description
Deutsch: Ursprünglich stand das Epitaph in der Marktkirche Hannover. Nachdem in den fünziger Jahren des 19. Jahrhunderts eine Regotisierung stattgefunden hatte, wurden die Figuren des Epitaphs in das damalige Museum für Kunst und Wissenschaft gebracht. Heute sind sie im Landesmuseum Hannover aufgestellt. Chronos als Symbol des Todes oder der Vergänglichkeit wird von drei Putten begleitet, die Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft verkörpern.
