Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Brooding Anemone (Epiactis prolifera) - These brightly colored anemones are usually no larger than the size of a dime. Their bright orange bodies can often be found clinging to kelp or other algae, as well as rocks, in the intertidal zones. They are called Brooding Anemones for their curious parental behavior. Their young actually remain perched on the sides of their parent until they near adulthood, at which time they slide off their parent and become independent
