Summary

[edit]
Description
English: An article (The Development of the Church of St Mary at Ephesos from Late Antiquity to the Dark Ages, Nikolaos Karydis) I found a picture of the (outer side of) the apse of the first basilica. I understood that formerly there was a roman stoa at this side, parts of which were integrated into the later church building. The apse and main body of the church lies behind the raised part in the distance on some pictures.
