English: Addressed commemorative envelope stamped 'FIRST OFFICIAL AIR MAIL - APR - 1934 - AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND', marked 'Per VH-UXX "Faith In Australia" - C.T.P. ULM, Commander', signed (in ink) by Ulm and postmarked 'SYDNEY - 11 AM - 11 APR - 1934' and 'AIR MAIL - SECTION - G.P.O.' The envelope, addressed to 'Miss K. Thomas, - Thomas Road, - Mangere Central, - AUCKLAND. S.E.5, NEW ZEALAND' has a printed kiwi and kookaburra in lower alternate corners, a blue 'BY AIR MAIL - PAR AVION' sticker on upper left and three postage stamps, two 3.d "AIR MAIL SERVICE' stamps and one standard '1 PENNY' stamp.

Notes Addressed commemorative envelope stamped 'FIRST OFFICIAL AIR MAIL - APR - 1934 - AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND' One of 39,971 first official air mail covers that were flown to New Zealand from Sydney on the evening of 11 April 1934. 24,690 came to Auckland.
