| Description |
English: Entrance to Preshaw estate. Looking NW along the busy Corhampton to Morestead road. Preshaw Estate entrance is on right, a byway on left. In 1997, the Monarch's Way left the Preshaw Estate here and turned right towards the white van. No sane person would try to walk that section, let alone take a dog or horse there. According to the 2005 map, the Way now crosses the road here and continues safely along the base of Stephen's Castle Down. An Esso pipeline crosses the road at this junction. |
