English: Entrance to Maes William Williams VC This housing estate is named after an Amlwch fisherman who as a seaman/gunner RNR on the Q-ship HMS Pargust won the VC in an action in the Atlantic which took place 7 June, 1917. William Williams also won the DSM and Bar in other actions. He died in 1965, aged 75, and is buried at Amlwch Cemetery.
