| Transcript | Dovedale is a beautiful piece of typical Derbyshire scenery which stretches between Ilam and Mill Dale, though practically continuous with the last named, Hall Dale, and Beresford Dale. The River Dove winds a picturesque course along a well-wooded valley, with steep rocky sides, which the wear of centuries has carved into many quaint and fantastic forms. The woodland growth is most profuse and delightful. |
