Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Nestled in the hills of Koh-i-Maran, the Badamwari Garden is a hidden gem in Srinagar. Renowned for its early-blooming almond flowers, the park heralds the onset of spring in Kashmir with their blossoming in March, signaling an end to the severe winter. While there are no records indicating the garden's founder, historians believe it predates the reign of Sultan Zain-ul-Abidin in the 14th century. The Jammu & Kashmir Bank revitalized the park and opened it to the public in 2008.
