English: The Federal Transition Framework (FTF)9 provides agencies with information on how to align their enterprise architecture and segment architecture to various policy-driven cross-agency information technology (IT) initiatives using a simple and familiar structure. The FTF contains a catalog of cross-agency initiatives in a format easily
incorporated and is comprised of sections corresponding to specific cross-agency initiatives. Each initiative is described using a standard structure including layers corresponding to the five FEA reference models. |
