From the seaward side. Dane's Dyke is a nature reserve and Scheduled Ancient Monument of national importance, acquiring its name from the ancient ditch and bank earthwork that runs through the reserve and for 4Km across the Flamborough Headland to Cat Nab on Bempton Cliffs. There are many paths and trails through the ravine and woodland, which plays host to a variety of wildlife and flora.
