Suomi: Markkinan kylä brittiläisen Letitia Byrnen kuparipiirroksessa vuodelta 1819. Mäellä on kirkko ja kellotapuli. Pappila vasemmalla. Niiden välissä on käräjätupa sekä kyläläisten ja Tornion kauppiaiden markkinatuvat ja kala-aitat.
Svenska: Enontekis kyrko- och marknadsplats i Markkina vid Muonioälven, avbildad av brittiskan Letitia Byrne 1819. På kullen står en kyrka och klockstapel. Nedanför finns församlingsbornas kyrkstugor samt bodar tillhöriga handelsmän från Torneå.
