The name of the village reflects a connection with the famous second world war battle. Wikipedia Enham_Alamein The commander of the British land forces which won the battle, General, later Field Marshal, Montgomery, is buried about 40 kilometres east of here in Binsted and his grave can be viewed here 619878 |
