English: England's Bridge - No.126 - K&A Canal Stanton St.Bernard The "bridge 'oles" on this canal as originally designed by John Rennie are a little eccentric, the towpath side being slightly flattened.
Rennie was also the engineer of the Lancaster Canal so it is not surprising that the bridges there have a similar appearance. |
