Summary
[edit]DescriptionEngineer's train approaching Reading - geograph.org.uk - 1236490.jpg |
English: Engineer's train approaching Reading Electro-diesel locomotive no. 73114, heading an engineer's "departmental" train, waits at a signal outside Reading station. It has come on the non-electrified line from Redhill. These and a few other types of loco (the others all now extinct) with both diesel engines and electric motors were useful for taking trains between the electrified and non-electrified lines of the South-East. |
