Different experiments performed by myself and my co-workers, Wagner, Ottoiv, Bormann and Kropman, during thepast two years have enabled us to throw some light on certainaspects of the problem. In these animalsextraordinarily small testicular fragments, representing onlyabout 1 per cent of the weight of two normal testicles, weresufficient for the full development of the somatic sexual charac-ters (5).
