Summary

[edit]
Description The Lonely Planet feature on NatGeo People spoke of a two hour bone jarring ride. Sadly, that's no more the case. This is the end of the line for us, just 20 min. from where we started. This is a compulsory 20min. halt here while the scores of tourist stalls you see here try out their hard sell, trying to sell you bracelets, water, t-shirts, dresses and stuff. I read later that Norries still do go beyond this station, but only for locals carrying goods and stuff. So here we are, arriving at the next station, a tourist trap town, and the end of the line for us. (Battambang, Cambodia, Apr. 2014)
