Summary
[edit]DescriptionEnd of the line at Kirkstall Abbey (geograph 5670258).jpg |
English: End of the line at Kirkstall Abbey. Abbey Light Railway was a private 2 ft gauge railway between Bridge Road, Kirkstall, and the grounds of Kirkstall Abbey. It operated from 1974 to 2012 and was dismantled after the owner and chief engineer died. The opening in the fence was for passenger access to the platform, not for an extension of the line. |
