Description

11 de Junio de 2011. Valladolid. Colegio San José. La Asociación de Antiguos Alumnos del Colegio San José de Valladolid celebra este fin de semana, 11 y 12 de junio, el Día del Antiguo Alumno en el que el catedrático de Historia Moderna Luis Antonio Ribot será nombrado Antiguo Alumno Distinguido 2011. 

  Numerosos antiguos alumnos han propuesto a este jesuita, profesor, escritor y antiguo alumno para recibir esta mención por lo que ha significado su persona y su obra a lo largo de toda una vida.

  Este sábado tendrán lugar numerosas actividades deportivas y culturales, así como comidas y cenas de hermandad organizada por las diversas promociones, mientras que el domingo día 12 oficiará una misa concelebrada por antiguos profesores y alumnos.

  Posteriormente tendrá lugar el acto de nombramiento y entrega de la placa de Antiguo Alumno Distinguido 2011 a Luis Antonio Ribot, que pertenece a la promoción 1968.

  Luis Antonio Ribot es catedrático de Historia Moderna en la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) desde 2005. Se licenció en Geografía e Historia por la Universidad de Valladolid, en la que obtuvo el Premio Extraordinario de Licenciatura y, años después, el Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado.
El año 2003 le fue concedido el Premio Nacional de Historia de España por su libro 'La Monarquía de España y la guerra de Mesina (1674-1678), Madrid (Actas), 2002.'
