Located at 171 Speers Road in Oakville Ontario Canada. Opened in 1987 as the "Oakville Ciniplex Odeon" Oakville's first multi screen cinema it replaced a smaller single screen Odeon located at 131 Speers Road. Closed in 1999 it's short existence being at least in part due to the fact that a "Famous Players" multi screen cinema opened in 1989 less than a 10 minute drive away. This building then became a church "The Meeting House" Reborn in 2007 as an "Encore Cinema" a small Canadian chain based in Burlington Ontario. |
