Enamelled and silvered heraldic pendant, eagle.
Description
English: Shield-shaped enamelled and silvered copper alloy heraldic pendant. The design is of an eagle displayed and head facing left, in low relief, on a background of light blue enamel. A suspension loop appears to be broken off from the top. The reverse is flat and undecorated. All exposed metal, including the eagle, shows traces of coating. Medieval, probably 13th-14th century. Length 19.44mm, width 14.66mm, thickness 3.18mm, weight 3.03g.
