English: Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko on arrive in Manila Tuesday, January 26, 2016 on a five-day tour to pay their respects for those who lost their lives there during World War II and to promote international goodwill. They are welcome by President Benigno S. Aquino III, sister Pinky Abellada and his cabinet at AGES Aviation Center, Balabag Ramp, Pasay City. Their five-day state visit will include a wreath laying ceremony at the Rizal Monument, a visit to the Libingan ng mga Bayani, a state banquet in Malacañang, as well as visits to the Japanese Garden in Lake Caliraya in Laguna and the International Rice Research Institute in Los Baños, Laguna.
