English: 141008-N-TP834-036 ANDAMAN SEA (Oct. 8, 2014) Aerographer’s Mate 3rd Class Emilie Johnson, from Detroit, takes meteorological readings aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Carl Vinson and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17, are on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
