Description
English: The French writer Èmile Zola in his study, probably in Paris. This image with the headline "Bilder vom Tage" (Pictures of the day) was published on page 1847 of the german boulevard magazine Die Woche a week after his death.
Deutsch: Der französische Schriftsteller in seinem Arbeitszimmer, vermutlich in Paris. Das Bild hat in der Zeitschrift Die Woche Nr. 40 vom 4. Oktober 1902 eine herausragende Stellung in der Rubrik "Bilder vom Tage", weil Zola wenige Tage zuvor verstorben war.
