Description
Français : 12x17 cm, gélatine plan-film. Cette empreinte, sur laquelle est représenté Apollon, est celle de la face gravée de l'intaille de cornaline d'une bague en or, découverte en 1936 par un fouilleur clandestin, dans le tombeau n°1 de la nécropole d'Emèse (aujourd'hui Tell Abou Saboun, à Homs). Depuis conservé au musée national de Damas (inv.7085), cet objet a été publié et décrit dans un article d'Henri Seyrig, paru dans la revue Syria en 1952.Seyrig Henri, "Antiquités syriennes", Syria, tome 29, fascicule 3-4, 1952, pp. 204-250 ;en ligne : https://doi.org/10.3406/syria.1952.4788
