Summary

[edit]
Description

Something I've never seen actually taking place - a young damselfly emerging from the nymph. Started off a bit like a horror film, then a steady process of inflating body and wings.

Bit of a rest, then away it flew. Whole process took no more than an hour. Around 12 emerged, and now there are just empty husks on the lily pads.
