Description
English: Emem Ekpenyong was born into the family of Mr & Mrs Efiong Etuk of Afia Nsit 1 in Nsit Ibom LGA of Akwa Ibom, on the 28th of September. The family welcomed her as their second child/second daughter. She grew up surrounded by the love of her sister and three brothers.

She acquired her elementary, high school and tertiary education in Akwa Ibom State. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007.

Emem Ekpenyong is from Edem Idim Ibaseki in Ini LGA by marriage. She is a mother, a legal practitioner with a journalistic knack for creating words, a consummate researcher and an author of books. She is the author of

  • Evolution of Customary Law Through the Cases
  • Understanding Tenancy Law in Nigeria
  • The Rights of Air Passengers in Nigeria

Emem Ekpenyong owns a blog, and she spends her leisure hours creating content for her web log: www.thinktankengine.org. The blog is designed specifically to publish recondite issues in the areas of law and medicine. The following articles are on the weblog:
