Description
English: The Embassy of Angola is the diplomatic mission of Angola to the United States. The embassy is located at 2100 and 2108 (pictured; Consular Section and Press Office) 16th Street NW in Washington, D.C. The building pictured was constructed in 1898. Notable past owners of the residence include Thomas Wharton Phillips, Jr. , Arthur Lee, 1st Viscount Lee of Fareham, the Argentine embassy), the Cuban embassy, and the Black Women's Agenda. The building is a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District.
