Summary
[edit]DescriptionEmbassy Court, Kings Road - geograph.org.uk - 385375.jpg |
English: Embassy Court, Kings Road Built in 1934-5 to a design by Wells Coates on the site of the former Brunswick Baths. The block was the first modern set of high rise flats in Brighton and caused some controversy due to the proximity of the Brunswick Estate, the most eastern part to the left of Embassy Court. Much of the 1930s interiors still remain and the building is now lauded as being of special architectural interest, particularly after a recent makeover restored it to its former glory after years of neglect by a property company who owned the freehold. Embassy Court is in Brighton and Brunswick Terrace next door is in Hove. |
