Español: El Museo Archivo de la Fotografía, institución perteneciente a la Secretaría de Cultura capitalina, en colaboración con el Centro de la Imagen, a cargo de la Secretaría de Cultura del Gobierno de México, presentó este miércoles 29 de noviembre, en el marco de la Noche de Museos, la exposición El ojo y el corazón. El andar de Nacho López por el valle del mezquital, muestra que celebra el centenario del natalicio del reconocido fotógrafo mexicano.
El acto inaugural contó con la participación de la hija del artista, Citlalli López, la fotógrafa Elsa Medina, así como del curador de la exposición César Carrillo Trueba en compañía de la directora del Centro de la Imagen, Johan Trujillo Argüelles; la responsable del Museo Archivo de la Fotografía, Lizbeth Ramírez Chávez y del director general de Patrimonio Histórico, Artístico y Cultural de esta dependencia, Francisco Javier Martínez Ramírez. Los visitantes pueden, a través de las fotografías, conocer la Festividad de Corpus Christi Naxthéy, las labores campesinas y los canales de riego del Valle del Mezquital, además de las labores textiles de las mujeres, una pintura rupestre en Mandodó San Antonio Tezoquiapan y su barranca, introducidos por un retrato del fotógrafo capturado por su alumna Elsa Medina. |

Se puede disfrutar de una muestra de 32 im??genes impresas en plata sobre gelatina que el artista captur?? en Ixmiquilpan, Tasquillo y Alfajayucan El Museo Archivo de la Fotograf??a, instituci??n perteneciente a la Secretar??a de Cultura capitalina, en colaboraci??n con el Centro de la Imagen, a cargo de la Secretar??a de Cultura del Gobierno de M??xico, present?? este mi??rcoles 29 de noviembre, en el marco de la Noche de Museos, la exposici??n El ojo y el coraz??n. (Nacho) a lo largo de su trabajo y esta dignificaci??n del Valle del Mezquital, que siempre fue presentada como la zona m??s atrasada del pa??s, como el ejemplo de la pobreza, el anacronismo, marginaci??n y miseria, cuando Nacho L??pez llega logra im??genes de una dignidad que contrastan y rompen con todos estos esquemas???, explic?? en curador. Citlalli L??pez agradeci?? a ambas instituciones el apoyo para recordar el legado de su padre a trav??s de un recorrido por 32 fotograf??as, procedentes del Acervo Documental y Art??stico de Nacho L??pez, que muestran al p??blico la ??ltima faceta de su trabajo fotogr??fico en el Valle del Mezquital, Hidalgo, en donde captur?? distintas im??genes en Ixmiquilpan, Tasquillo y Alfajayucan, tierras m??s ??ridas que las del sur del valle y de mayor poblaci??n ind??gena. En su oportunidad, Elsa Medina record?? que muchas de estas im??genes se imprimieron en su laboratorio por lo que representa para ella un viaje en el tiempo recordar los negativos y escuchar los consejos y cr??ticas que L??pez hac??a a sus primeras fotograf??as tomadas por ella en el Taller de an??lisis de la imagen. Asimismo, previo al corte de list??n, los integrantes del pres??dium recordaron a Nacho L??pez como un amigo de los pueblos ind??genas que logr?? una sencillez est??tica que le permiti?? retratar lo cotidiano como ritual y lo ritual como cotidiano alejado del folclore y la fiesta con el objetivo de integrarse a la comunidad. Los visitantes pueden, a trav??s de las fotograf??as, conocer la Festividad de Corpus Christi Naxth??y, las labores campesinas y los canales de riego del Valle del Mezquital, adem??s de las labores textiles de las mujeres, una pintura rupestre en Mandod?? San Antonio Tezoquiapan y su barranca, introducidos por un retrato del fot??grafo capturado por su alumna Elsa Medina. Ignacio L??pez Bocanegra, mejor conocido como ???Nacho??? L??pez, es considerado uno de los m??ximos representantes de la fotograf??a mexicana, mayormente por sus reportajes fotogr??ficos que conforman una vasta cr??nica de la Ciudad de M??xico pero, tambi??n, por sus reportajes etnogr??ficos que representan una rica veta dentro de su producci??n art??stica, los cuales inici?? con su primera visita a Janitzio, Michoac??n, en 1950. En casi cuatro d??cadas de trabajo, Nacho L??pez viaj?? a la sierra Tarahumara, recorri?? varias veces los Altos de Chiapas, convivi?? largo tiempo con los ayuuk en la sierra mixe de Oaxaca, fotografi?? ceremonias entre los wix??rika de Jalisco y la vida cotidiana de los chontales en Tabasco, as?? como tambi??n entrevist?? a viejos zapatistas y film?? algunos cortometrajes para el entonces Instituto Nacional Indigenista (INI) y document?? la vida de los campesinos que llegaban a la Ciudad de M??xico en busca de una mejor vida. Hacia los a??os setenta contribuy?? a la formaci??n de estudiantes y la conformaci??n de un plan de estudios en la reci??n creada Facultad de Artes Pl??sticas que resultar??a en la creaci??n de la Licenciatura en Fotograf??a, carrera pionera en su tiempo. El ojo y el coraz??n. El andar de Nacho L??pez por el valle del mezquital podr?? visitarse hasta el 11 de febrero en el Museo Archivo de la Fotograf??a, ubicado en Rep??blica de Guatemala 34, Centro Hist??rico, Alcald??a Cuauht??moc.
