English: Elron Electronic Industries Ltd." was established at the end of 1961, by Uziah Galil. About a year after its establishment, it purchased an industrial building at 88 HaGiborim Street in Haifa (the building on the right in the photo). There it produced scientific electronic devices. Three years later " Elbit Computers Ltd." as a partnership of Elron and the Ministry of Defence. Following the founding of "Elbit", its management rented the building next to "Elron", which was under construction at the time to serve as a residential building, and housed there Elbit's computer factory. Temporary passages were built between the two buildings, to allow a physical connection between them. After the group moved to Matam Park ("Science Industries Center"), the establishment of which was also initiated by Elron, the company "Rada Electronic Industries Ltd" moved to the complex on HaGivori Street.
