English: Cpl. Justin Jones of Ellijay, Ga., proudly displays his "robin hood" arrow to Brig. Gen. Robert F. Hedelund, during the archery competition at the 2012 Warrior Games aboard the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., May 2.
A "robin hood" in archery is a rare event when a shooter splits his previous arrow. Jones was wounded in an improvised explosive device blast in Sangin, Afghanistan in 2011. At the time of his blast he was carrying his friend to a medevac landing zone because he was wounded in a previous blast. |
