Mrs. E. Kershaw Dies. Neshanic, New Jersey; July 11, 1928. Mrs. Elizabeth Kershaw, aged 65, passed away at her home Monday afternoon after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late George and Sarah Kershaw of Harlingen and grew up in that vicinity. About 40 years ago she became the wife of William S. Kershaw. Mr. and Mrs. Kershaw spent most of their married life in Neshanic. He was for many years manager of the general store and milling business of the late Andrew Lane and later was clerk of the Board of Freeholders of Somerset County. Since his death, about four years ago, her brother-in-law, Joseph Kershaw, has made his home with her. Mrs. Kershaw possessed fine literary tastes and during her youth was a school teacher in Mercer County. Her pupils remembered her as a teacher with high ideals, who made character building her chief aim. Mrs. Kershaw was active in the religious life of Neshanic, teaching a class in the Methodist Sunday School for many years and taking an active part in the Ladies' Aid Society. Her membership in the Harlingen church was recently transferred to the Neshanic Reformed Church. The funeral, which will be held at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, Standard Time, will be conducted by Rev. George Scholten, her pastor, assisted by Rev. W. H. Lewis of the Methodist Church. Burial will be at Harlingen.
