Elizabeth Bready receives a copy of the Lincoln deathbed scene (MIS 05-6595-10), National Museum of Health and Medicine. Description: Elizabeth F. Bready, New York Academy of Medicine, receives a copy of the Lincoln deathbed scene drawn by her grandfather, Hermann Faber. Presenters are Captain William L. Silliphant, Medical Corps (right), director of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, and Colonel Albert E. Minns, Jr., Curator of the Institute's Medical Museum. Faber was also illustrator for the 6-volume Medical and Surgical History of the War of the Rebellion.
