| Description |
The Kenois Building, NW corner of Eleventh and G Streets, NW. Geotagged. Formerly the La Fetra Hotel, the building was being converted into offices when this photo appeared in the 9/3/10 "Washington Times". Architect Frederick B. Pyle drew up the plans for the redesign, which included a completely new facade. The name was devised by combining the names of the home states of developers C.C. Calhoun (Kentucky) and James M. Sharp (Illinois). The site is currently occupied by 700 Eleventh Street, NW (1982). Geotagged. |
