Summary
[edit]DescriptionEleven wounded warriors returned to Iraq through Operation Proper Exit DVIDS292505.jpg |
English: Staff Sgt. Scott Adams Sr., from Williston, Fla., last deployed with 303rd Military Police Company, talks to a hospital staff member as him and ten other wounded warriors tour the facility and visit with the staff of the Armed Forces Theater Hospital at Joint Base Balad, June 12, 2010. The wounded warriors spent the week, June 12-16, touring Iraq, visiting the sites where they had been injured, and taking time to meet with troops to talk about their experiences. The operation provided the opportunity for injured veterans to also see the overall progress that has been made in country since their deployed service. The goal is to provide closure for their traumatic experience and give them the chance to exit Iraq on their own terms. |
