DescriptionElectronic Reconnaissance Station.jpg |
This ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) station serves the Swiss Air Force for the programming of self-protection systems, the identified air and ground situation picture and for intelligence purposes. In order to warn a pilot, you must be able to distinguish emitters with weapons of radar without connection to weapons. At weapons with several emitters must be distinguished in general different radar modes (search, track, guidance). While the detection of a search mode still poses no threat, the danger is very high at a guidance signal . The continually updated and revised parameters of radar emitters are collected in libraries and also available for other systems of electronic warfare. The parameters of radar emitters belong to the well-kept secrets. (classified / no geotags) On a mountain at the north-east border of Switzerland, Sep 1, 2010. |
