Description
Français : Électro-artographe, extrait du Supplément illustré des Annales, 1895. Il s’agit d’illustrations de l’electro-autograph (ou electro-artgraph) breveté par l’Américain Noah S. Amstutz (1864-1957) qui permet de transmettre par voie télégraphique une image photographique tirée sur gélatine (dont l’épaisseur varie selon l’intensité des noirs). À la réception, l’image est gravée sur cire et peut fournir par galvanotypie un cliché imprimable.
