| Description |
English: Electricity Substation, Mill Lane, Ringwood Fed by two 33 KV lines from Mannington, and having two Ferranti transformers, this substation supplies 11 KV to Ringwood. It also relays 33 KV power to New Street (another Ringwood substation) and to Fordingbridge. The cars are parked on Mill Lane, a cul de sac formed when the A31/A338 junction was built. The Mill has long since ceased to exist. In the foreground is the slip road from the A31 to the junction. The River Avon flows directly behind the substation. |
